Add the flour and salt and then mix with your hands to brig together as a soft, sticky dough. (it could be VERY soft and sticky.)Pour the warm melted butter over the dough and mix this into the dough with your hands. Cover the bowl and let it stand for 10 minutes.Grease your hands with a bit of olive oil, and greast a flat surface with olive oil. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead for 10 seconds (yes - seconds), and then form the dough into a smooth round ball. (It could be unmanageable as you start, but if you add a wee bit more flour along the way, it will help). Wipe the bowl clean and grease it with olive oil. Then return the dough ball to the bowl and leave for a further 10 minutes.Repeat this ten-second kneading and resting process every ten minutes twice. Then let the dough rest for 30 minutes.Grease an 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch loaf pan. Dust it with a wee bit of flour. Divide the dough into two equal pieces, and shape into two balls. Place them side-by-side into the oaf tin. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 1 1/2 hours, or until almost doubled in height. Just before the 1 1/2 hour mark, preheat the oven to 400 F.Brush the top of the loaf with a little milk and place into the preheated oven to bake for 15 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 350 and bake for a further 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top of the loaf is a shiny dark brown, and the loaf has come away from the sides of the tin. Remove from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.Number of Servings: 16Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MUDMOUSE.What's The Nutritional Info For Simple Milk Bread? The nutritional information for Simple Milk Bread is:
