1/3 C Heavy Whipping Cream or Milk. (Anna uses evaporated milk)
1-15oz Can of Black Eyed Peas

Here is how you make Anna's Zuppa Toscana (Kale Soup) - 1 Cup Serving:

Makes 8 1-cup servings.Place sausage on a sprayed baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutesCut Bacon in 1/2 inch pieces and fry in a large sauce pan or dutch oven. Remove bacon and leave grease.Add onions, saute for 3-5 minutes.Add garlic and saute another minuteDrain all grease and discard it.Add Soup Base, Water, and potatoes. Bring to boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Potatoes should still be a little underdone (yes it is in the dictionary)Add Bacon, sausage, Kale, black-eyed peas, and milk. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve(Anna says it is better if you let it set overnight in the refrigerator and reheat to serve)Number of Servings: 8
