5 cups chicken broth
3 cups chopped onion
3 cups (small head) cauliflower florets
1 medium potato, diced small (with skin)
5 links chicken sausage (the brand I use is Marc Angelo and each link is about 80 calories), meat removed from casings
4 cups skim milk
1/4 cup cornstarch
Seasonings of your choice: I used lots of garlic, black pepper and some roasted garlic and pepper seasoning

Here is how you make Creamy Sausage Crockpot Soup:

Load the potatoes, cauliflower, onion, seasonings and chicken broth to the crockpot. Cook on high 5-6 hours or low 7-8 hours. Remove and blend in blender or food processor. Put back into crockpot.Cook sausage meat in nonstick pan and drain. Set aside.An hour or so before serving, add milk and meat to crockpot. Mix cornstarch with enough cold water to make a smooth paste and stir in. Heat through on high and this should thicken the soup. Skip this step if the soup is thick enough for your taste.
