What Are The Ingredients For Curly Kale and Potato Soup Recipe?The ingredients for Curly Kale and Potato Soup are: 1 large bunch of kale1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil 2 sliced onions 1 lb. potatoes 4 cloves garlic large pinch of salt 6 cups chicken broth How Do I Make Curly Kale and Potato Soup?Here is how you make Curly Kale and Potato Soup: Wash, drain and chop kale.Heat oil in a soup pot. and cook onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally until soft, tender and slightly browned - about 12 minutes.While the onions are cooking, peel, cut in half and cut potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. When onions are cooked stir in the garlic cloves, cook for a couple of minutes, then add the potatoes and chopped kale. Stir, then add salt. Cook for 5 minutes stiring occasionally. Finally add chicken broth. Raise the heat, bring to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, or until the kale and potatoes are tender. Taste the soup and add more salt if necessary. Serve hot and garnish each serving with extra-virgin olive oil, parmesan or other hard cheese freshly grated.VARIATIONS;slice 1/2 lb linguica, chorizo or a spicey garlic sausage. Brown in the oil before adding the onions, remove when brown.
