While beans are soaking cut up thawed, raw venison and marinate in beef broth wtih minced onion and one clove of minced garlic overnight in refrigerator. In the morning, rinse dry beans thoroughly and simmer in small pot of water with two bay leaves for 90 minutes.Combine the container of marinated venison (liquid and all) to the semi-cooked beans in large stock pot. This is your starter for you vegetable soup.Add 2 cans of chicken broth, 1 can of diced tomatoes. Peel and dice two med. potatoes and add to mixture while simmering. Add 1 T. dry basil. Add two stalks of finely chopped celery, 2 diced fresh tomatoes and 4 cups of pkged. cole slaw mix. Add 1 12 oz. pkg of frozen vegetables last. Allow entire soup to simmer for at least 1 hour to blend all the flavors.
