Here is how you make Baby Beef Stew:

Cut beef into cubes, season with salt and pepper, then brown in oil. Cut potatoes and parsnips into chunks and chop onions. Put all veggies (except peas) and herbs into crockpot, then place beef on top. Stir wine, broth and tomato paste together and pour over all. Let cook for 4-5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low. 30 minutes before finishing time, stir cornstarch into enough water to make a slurry and add into crockpot with peas.
