What Are The Ingredients For Cheryl's Ricotta Gnocci Recipe?The ingredients for Cheryl's Ricotta Gnocci are: 2 x 400 gram containers of Ricotta (skim)4 Large Eggs 4.5 cups of white flour Salt and Pepper 2 tsp - Garlic Powder 4 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 cups grated Parmesan Cheese 2 cans of Primo (romano & basil) Tomato Sauce. How Do I Make Cheryl's Ricotta Gnocci?Here is how you make Cheryl's Ricotta Gnocci: add half the Olive oil to a pot - open cans of sauce and pour into pot - stew for at least 4 hours (stir randomly).1. Strain the Ricotta cheese for an hour or so to get out the excess water out.2. Stir together the Ricotta Cheese, eggs, half the parmesan, garlic powder and salt & pepper (to taste) until evenly combined - MIx in two cups of flour and add extra flour (slowly) if needed until a soft dough is formed.3. Seperate a large handful size of dough (cut not pull) and roll into a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick rope on a floured surface - reapeat until all the dough is in ropes. Cut each rope into 1 inch pieces.4. Roll each piece down the back of the tynes of a fork or a "pasta-board" leaving ridges and a "mouth" in each piece.5. place each finished piece on a lightly floured baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the freezer.6. Bring a large pot of lightly salted and water to a boil - add the remaining olive oil to the water. Once boiling add the gnocci. Boil the gnocci until they float to the surface, only 1-3 minutes - NO LONGER.7. Drain lightly - no heavy shaking.8. Add the sauce to the bottom of the now empty large pot - and then pour the gnocci back into the large pot - lightly stir and serve. Add grated Parmesan to taste. (I also add Dried Chillies)Serving Size: Makes 6 full plate dinners of Gnocci.
