The ingredients for Apple Jello Salad are:

2 pkgs of strawberry sugar free jello
1 1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 medium apple, cored and quartered
1 - 8oz container of light kool whip
1/4 cup walnuts chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Reserve 1/4 cup dissolved jello. Stir 3/4 cup cold water into remaining dissolved jello. Chill until slightly thickened. Place a 6 cup mold in an ice water bath. Stir remaining 1/4 cup cold water into reserved 1/4 cup jello. Pour this little bit of jello into mold and chill until slightly thickened. Slice one apple quarter into 4 slices. Cut slices in half. Arrange apple pieces skin side down in a ring in the bottom of the mold. Chill until apples are firmly in place.

Chop remaining apple quarters. Fold apples, 2 cups cool whip, walnuts, raisins and cinnamon into remaining thickened glelatin. Spoon into mold. Chill 4 hours.

Unmold and garnish with remaining whipped topping.
