Wash & pat lettuce. Mix lettuce and onion together in salad bowl. Season with fresh ground pepper & coarse salt. Toss. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve. Add the oranges & almonds before serving. Top with homemade dressing.Dressing:Combine first seven ingredients in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Gradually stir in oil. Chill.
