Here is how you make Thai Broccoli Soup:

Saute the curry paste and 1/2 cup of coconut milk in a cooking pot, just 30 seconds or so. Enough to make the curry fragrant but not so long that it burns. Add the rest of the coconut milk and the 4 cups of water. Bring to simmer. Add hot, cooked chicken and fresh broccoli. Heat until broccoli is cooked through, about 8 minutes.
