Here is how you make Spicy Corn Chowder:

Remove corn from cobs and set aside.Simmer vegetable broth in large pot with corn cobs and 2 bay leaves. Smash cobs with back of spoon to get corn milk in broth. Simmer for 30 min.In separate pan saute pepers and onions in butter (for less spice use poblano or anaheim chili peppers)Pull cobs and bay leaves out of pot; add sauteed onions and peppers and cubed potatoes, salt and pepper to taste; cook until potatoes are cooked.
