3-diced chicken breast/boneless skinless
3 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup tap water
pepper to taste


How Do I Make Chicken and veggies?

Here is how you make Chicken and veggies:

Cook diced chicken breast in a large fry pan or wok with a small amount of water instead of oil. After chicken is completely cooked, add chicken broth, carrots and onions. Once carrots are almost tender add remaining veggies. Stir often to make sure everything is cooking. Once veggies are cooked, move all meat and veggies to the sides of the pan to created a small pool of broth at the bottom of the pan. Mix the cornstarch and 1/2 cup water together, then add to the hot borth in the pan, stir constantly to keep from lumping. Quickly work in the veggies and meat from the sides of the pan until the cornstarch mixture is blended into the other ingredients. Pepper to taste. can be served over brown rice or my son like it over whole wheat noddles. I like it by itself, it reduces my carb intake that way. Will make 6-1 cup serves.
