Here is how you make Buffalo Bacon Burgers:

Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy and brown, drain grease and transfer bacon bits to a paper towel.Saute garlic and shallots in the pan you cooked the bacon in, but try and wipe out as much bacon grease as possible, also you can clean the pan after making the bacon and give it a shot of nonstick cooking spray to saute the shallots and garlic - the spray being the lower fat choice.
