2 cups chopped celery

How Do I Make Ground Beef Mix #1?

Here is how you make Ground Beef Mix #1:

Brown ground beef, seasoned with salt, pepper and ginger, in a large skillet or dutch oven over med-high heat, stirring to break up meat. Drain and discard drippings. Stir in celery, onions and peppers. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove from heat and cool. Ladle into six 2 cup containers with tight fitting lids, leaving 1/2 inch air space at top of each. Cut through mixture several times with knife to remove air pockets. Add lids. Label containers with best before date of three months from the date you make the recipe and contents. Store in freezer. Makes 6 packages of 2 cups each. Each package makes a meal.
