Brown chuck, onion and garlic. In a pot combine rest of ingredients with 1/2 cup water and add hamburger mixture. I use Rotel tomatoes for some extra flavor. Let all ingredients simmer with lid on pot until cabbage and rice cooks, approximately 20 minutes. Remove lid and add cheese. Let simmer until cheese melts. Add salt and pepper to individual taste.
