Here is how you make Homemade Meatball Pastabake:

Meatballs: In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, water, and optional seasoning. Form beef into 1 1/2 inch balls. Coat a large frying pan with 1tbsp canola or olive oil and place over medium high heat. Place meatballs in frying pan; turning each to brown evenly on all sides until cooked through.In another large bowl, place cooked pasta and about 1/3 jar of Ragu sauce and mix together. After meatballs are finished cooking, place on paper towel to drain excess grease.Spray an 8"x8" casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place about half the meatballs in the bottom of the dish. Spoon 1/3 of jar of Ragu sauce over meat balls. Sprinkle half the cheese over top of meatballs. Place half the pasta and sauce mix evenly over meatballs. Repeat for the second layer, using the remainder of the meatballs, sauce, and pasta.
