5 4oz bone in center cut pork chops
1/4 onion sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 yellow bell pepper sliced
1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
2 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with a small amount of water to dissolve
salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Skillet Pork Chops and Gravy?

Here is how you make Skillet Pork Chops and Gravy:

Add oil to non stick skillet and heat over medium high for one minute. Salt and pepper both sides of chops according to your preference. Brown chops in oil on both sides. Once browned, remove chops from oil and set aside. Add broth to pan and scrap up bits on bottom. Add onion, peppers, garlic and mucshrooms to pan. Add chops on top. Bring to a quick boil then lower heat to very low and cook for 45 minutes with pot covered. Chops will be very tender.
