Here is how you make OMG Acorn Squash:

cut a piece off bottom of each acorn squash half and set in a baking pan with sides, sprayed with PAM. heat butter in skillet and add onion, apple, cranberries, and pecans. saute until onion is soft. add pancake syrup, bacon, and rice; cook until heated through. fill each squash half with stuffing and pile extra around squash. cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. remove foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes. remove and cover with foil for another 10 minutes. serve.Serving Size: makes 2 servingsNumber of Servings: 2Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MARMAERT.
