Makes 12 standard muffinsPreheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter standard muffin tins.In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, applesauce, and egg. Pour into dry ingredients, add the nuts, chocolate chips, and craisins, and stir just until blended.Spoon into prepared muffin pan, filling each cup about three-quarters full.
