1/4 cup chopped nuts
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1 Tbsp blackstrap molasses
1 cup nonfat milk or dairy alternative

Here is how you make My favorite Oatmeal:

Combine water and salt and bring to a boil in saucepan on high heat. Once it boils, turn heat to low and add oatmeal. Let cook until water is just absorbed, about 5 minutes.Next add the cinnamon, dried fruit, nuts and flaxseed. Stir well. Cover the pan and turn off the heat. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes. I like to mix my molasses into my milk at this time. After 5 minutes dish up your oatmeal in a bowl and serve with molasses and milk. So tasty and filling!Serving Size:?1 small bowl of oatmeal
