What Are The Ingredients For JazzeJR's Power-Packed Oatmeal Recipe?The ingredients for JazzeJR's Power-Packed Oatmeal are: 1 cup water1/4 cup Old fashioned oatmeal (cooks in 5 minutes) 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (or soy) 4 strawberries cut into quarters (or bananas or blueberries, etc.) 7 walnut halves broken 4 almonds 2 tablespoons ground flax seed How Do I Make JazzeJR's Power-Packed Oatmeal?Here is how you make JazzeJR's Power-Packed Oatmeal: Bring 3/4 cup water to a boil; while you're waiting wash and cut the strawberries into quarters. Put into a bowl along with your walnut pieces and almonds. Add 1/4 cup (not 1/2) oatmeal to the water, and set a timer for 5 minutes. Stir the scoop of protein powder into 1/4 cup plus a little more of very hot water. It should be liquid. Stir until all the lumps are gone. Set aside. At about 2 1/2 minutes of the oatmeal's cooking time, add to it the ground flax seed, stirring a couple of seconds until blended. At 5 minutes the oatmeal is ready. Stir in the protein liquid and stir over heat about 30 seconds. Pour the oatmeal into the bowl of fruit and nuts. No milk is needed. The vanilla protein powder is sweetened, so be sure to taste before adding sugar.
