I make this shake at least once a day, usually right after I come back from the gym. This is a great recovery shake because it is loaded with protein and has a solid amount of carbs from the fruit. I use light soymilk because it is healthier than nonfat milk, although it can be substituted. I make this in the Magic Bullet blender, as the mugs are the perfect size for this recipe and it purees the fruit instantly.First, I put half the soymilk in the blender. Then I add all of the fruit. Next I add the protein powder and finally pour the rest of the soymilk on top. I found that layering the protein powder mixes it up the best.
