This recipe was given to me by a friend. To make it healthier, I would substitute the sugar with Splenda. The butter could be substituted with a healthier substitute. I would also cut the portion size down from one dumpling to 1/2 of a dumpling.

How Do I Make Apple Dumpling?

Here is how you make Apple Dumpling:

Wrap one piece of apple in one croissant/crescent roll. Melt one stick butter and mix with ginger ale and sugar. Bring to a boil. Add flavoring. Pour over wrapped apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
