Thicker, use less water.Brown ground beef (salt optional)Saute onionsPlace all ingrediants in Crock Pot and cook on high for 4 hrs then lo overnight.* all beans measured dry then soaked per the instructions on the bagsNOTE: I used what I had on hand and found this to be a little salty for my taste.
