1 pound turkey bacon, cut into small pieces
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 small onions, diced
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp butter
1 (14.75 oz) can cream style corn
1 (15.25oz) can whole kernel corn
4 cups chicken broth
6 small potatoes, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 cups skim milk
2 tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp white pepper
1 tsp red pepper flakes


How Do I Make Jen's Corn Chowder?

Here is how you make Jen's Corn Chowder:

1. Fry bacon in pan until almost done (should be crispy). Add onions, celery, and garlic and sauté until lightly browned.2. Transfer to large pot. Add cream style corn, whole kernel corn, butter, and broth. Add carrots and potatoes. Add salt, black pepper, white pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 15 minutes on high.3. Mix cornstarch together with water to form a paste.4. Add milk and cornstarch mixture. You may need to add more cornstarch mixture to thicken to your liking.
