2.25 c packed brown sugar

1/2 c plus 2 T unsweetened cocoa
2 1/2 c boiling water

Here is how you make Chocolate Eclipse:

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9 x 13 pan. Melt butter and chocolate together (I use the preheating oven).Heat sour milk gently until a little warmer than body temperature (don't boil or cook). Combine with chocolate mixture and vanilla. In large bowl, combine flour, 1 c brown sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt. Mix well, making as uniform a mixture as possible.Pour in wet ingredients and stir until well combined. Spread into prepared pan. Combine remaining 1 1/4 c brown sugar and cocoa and sprinle over top of batter evenly. Pour on boiling water and place in preheated oven. Bake 30-35 min until center is firm to the touch.
