Here is how you make Mountain Pie:

Butter one side of each slice of bread (you may not need all the butter) and place the buttered side down onto the iron. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling directly in the center of the bread. If you add too much, it'll end up spilling out and making your pie a mess. Close the iron and use a knife to cut off the excess bread. Hold over the open fire for about a minute and a half on each side. Keep an eye on it and adjust the cooking time as needed.
