4 large eggs lightly beaten
1 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
1 cup light corn syrup
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Here is how you make DMC's Pecan Pie:

1. Sift the flour, then remove 1/4 cup & mix it with the water & salt (using a fork).2. Mix the remaining flour with the crisco using 2 knives or a pastry blender.Once mixed, slowly add the flour and water mixture until the dough forms a ball. Do this mixing with your hands. Lightly flour the surface you will use for rolling, then roll out halfof the dough and place in a pie pan. Bake at 350'F for 15 Minutes for Pie "Shell" or 400"F for an hour for fruit pies, unless otherwise stated by a given recipe.Note: Do not use glass pie plates with this Pecan Pie recipe, metal pans work better. Glass works best for fruit pies with a top and a bottom. When dividing the dough Use(60% for the Bottom) & (40% for the Top) due to the "Deep Dish" design of the Glass Pie Plate.3. Using a spoon and a large mixing bowl, combine all of the filling ingredients (except pecans)until well blended.4. Stir in the pecans.5. Pour this mixture into your pastry - lined pie plate, and crimp the edges as desired.6.
