7-8 scallions or 1/2 onion, roughly chopped (about 1 cup)
1 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried hot red pepper
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 - 1 teaspoon cumin - to taste
1-5 cup Water, tap, as needed
3 TBSP Sunflower Seeds, without salt,


How Do I Make Raw Black Bean Burgers?

Here is how you make Raw Black Bean Burgers:

Prep time does not include the time to sprout the beans. Sprouting black beans takes about 2-3 days. for one cup of dry beans use three cups water in a jar and soak for 24 hours. Drain and rinse a min. 2x per day until 1/2 in. sprouts form. When ready to use, measure out the amount you want to use. Boil 4-6 cups water, let stand for 1 min. then add beans for one minute and rinse with cool water/drain. Now add all ingredients to a food processor and blend - adding water to smooth and assist the FP until you have a "dough like" consistency. make "patties" on teflex or parchment paper and place on rack in dehydrator 1-4 hours.
