1 pdg. (8-1/2 oz.) corn bread/muffin mix
1 C. chopped green pepper
1/2 C. chopped onion
1/2 C. Chopped celery
1 T. olive oil
1 pkg. (1 lb.) turkey hot dogs, halved lengthwise and cut into bite-size pieces
1 can (15 oz.) Bushes baked beans
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. chili powder
1 C (4 oz.) shredded 2% cheddar cheese, divided

Here is how you make Chili Cheese Dog Casserole:

*Prepare corn bread batter according to package directions. Spread half the batter into a greased 8-in. square baking dish; set aside. *In a large skillet, saute the green pepper, onion and celery in oil until crisp-tender. Stir in hotdogs; saute 3-4 min. longer or until lightly browned. Stir in the baked beans, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder; heat through. Stir in 3/4 C. cheese. Spoon over preapared corn bread. Spread remaining batter onto hotdog mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese*Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 28-32 min. or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 min. before serving. *Use more chili powder when using the baked beans.
