What Are The Ingredients For Chicken Italiano Recipe?The ingredients for Chicken Italiano are: Chicken breast, 4 diced to bite sizeZuccini, 2 medium diced (about 3 cups) Yellow Squash, 2 cups sliced Onion, 1 medium diced Tomato, 4 medium diced Margarine, 2 tbsp Garlic, 2 tsp minced Lite italian dressing, 1.5 cups (almost one bottle) Kraft 2% American cheese, 4 slices Rice, long grain, uncooked, 1.5 cups 3 cups boiling water How Do I Make Chicken Italiano?Here is how you make Chicken Italiano: Makes 8 servings (and then some)Rinse and dice chicken breast into cubes and place in bowl. Dice tomatos into large pieces(as they will cook down) and place in bowl with chicken cubes. Pour the lite italian dressing in the bowl and stir. Place in the fridge.In a large sauce pan, melt the margarine. Over medium heat add garlic, onion, zuccini and squash. Saute until the zuccini and squash are tender but not mushy. Add the chicken, tomato and italian dressing to the vegetable mixture. Cook over medium high heat until chicken is cooked through. (About 10 minutes) When chicken is cooked add 4 slices of Kraft 2% American cheese and stir them in. Lower heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.While the chicken and vegetable mixture is cooking, add 1.5 cups rice to 3 cups boiling water . Bring rice to boil and lower heat to medium low. Cook about 10 minutes or until rice is tender and fluffy.Serve the chicken mixture over rice on individual portions.
