3 pounds chicken thighs
3/4 tsp ground ginger
3/4 tsp paprika
2 1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tablespoon and 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons and 3/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
3/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3/4 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar


How Do I Make Aloha Chicken?

Here is how you make Aloha Chicken:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Arrange chicken in a single layer in a well greased 9 x 13 baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together ginger, paprika, onion powder and garlic salt. Add vinegar and mix well. Divide this mixture. Brush 1/2 over chicken pieces and bake in oven for 15 minutes. Turn the chicken pieces, baste with remaining 1/2 of vinegar mixture and bake 15 minutes longer. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine ketchup, soy sauce, pineapple and brown sugar. When chicken baking time is up, spoon pineapple/soy mixture over chicken. Bake another 30 minutes. Serve while hot.
