Thaw the ground beef and heat up a deep, wide bottom skillet pan. Cut up the onions, crush the garlic with a knife and take out the beans. You can use fresh, cooked dried beans as well.

Heat the dry pan and break up the groundmeat with your fingers as you put it in the pan. Let it cook just until done. Toss in the onions and the garlic. Stir around a bit until you smell the garlic then put in the beans, crushed tomato, bay leaf and bouillon. Add water as needed if chili seems too thick.

Let simmer on medium for about 15 minutes then add the chili seasoning. Stir and let simmer covered for 10-15 minutes.
