1 lb of lean ground beef
3 cups of kidney beans (canned)
3 cups of pinto beans (canned)
3 cups of stewed tomatoes (canned) with Jalapenos (I like it a little spicier, but if you don't just get the regular stewed tomatoes)
1 packet of McCormick's or Lawry's Chili Seasoning
3 Cloves of Garlic (chopped)


How Do I Make Homemade Red Chili?

Here is how you make Homemade Red Chili:

Brown the ground hamburger on the bottom of a large pot along with the three chopped cloves of garlic. Once the hamburget has browned, add in the cans of pinto beans, kidney beans, tomatoes and the packet of chili seasoning. Don't drain the cans of beans, because you will want the liquid to make the chili a little more "soupy". Bring all the ingredients to a boil together. Let cool for about five minutes and serve hot. I like to top mine with a little chopped onion and cilantro, and my fiance likes it with some cheese on top (if you can spare the calories).
