Here is how you make CIndy's Chili:

Brown ground beef, drain grease and season with salt and pepper. Add onions and saute together until softened. Add chili beans, tomatoes and tomato sauce (omit the 2d can of sauce if you like really chunky chili), stir to combine, then add seasonings to taste. Bring almost to boil, then lower heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.Like I said in the intro, this is plain-jane chili - you can up the heat and seasonings easily, and but it tastes even better the next day I serve with shredded cheese and sour cream with cornbread.
