What Are The Ingredients For Sharon's Chili Recipe?The ingredients for Sharon's Chili are: 2 lbs Laura's Lean Ground Beef, 8% fat2 medium onions, chopped 1 small/medium green pepper, chopped 2 28oz cans diced tomatoes 2 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tsp chili powder 2 tsp crushed red pepper 1 6oz can tomato paste 1 8oz can tomato sauce 3 15.5 oz cans light red kidney beans How Do I Make Sharon's Chili?Here is how you make Sharon's Chili: Brown ground beef in a saute pan over medium heat until no longer pink. Add to crock pot. Add chopped onion, chopped pepper, diced tomatoes, cayenne pepper, chili powder and crushed red pepper (may increase or decrease spices based on personal taste). Allow to cook 3-4 hours on high heat. Can continue to cook on low heat even overnight if desired. For a thicker chili, allow to cook with lid of crockpot off for at least part of the cooking time.15-20 min. before serving, rinse and drain kidney beans. Add beans, tomato paste and tomato sauce to crockpot. If it is too thick, you can add more sauce (not included in nutrition values).
