2-28 oz cans of crushed tomatoes
*I use Italian style in heavy puree
1-1.5 c can of each:
Black beans
great white northern beans
chili beans
kidney beans
1 lg onion, chopped
1 bulb of garlic, minced
2 c. frozen corn
3/4 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp of each Black, White, and red pepper
1/2 TBS of chili powder
1 TBS salt


How Do I Make Sweet Kicking Chili?

Here is how you make Sweet Kicking Chili:

Makes about 20 1-cup servingsDrain black, kidney, and white beans and rinse. Add to crock pot with Chili beans, crushed tomatoes, and corn. Stir well. Add spices. Stir well again. Melt butter in skillet and add chopped onions and garlic. Sautee for about 3-5 min, then add in brown sugar. Cook for another 2 to 3 min, until sugar is well melted and the mixture is somewhat runny. Add to chili and stir. Let simmer for an hour for best results. For a spicier version double the pepper amounts except the chili powder.
