This is a really good chilli . I never measure the amounts of seasoning, just season and taste, so, the amounts are not exact. The tomato juice I have on hand is 760mg sodium per serving, so the sodium content on this is not correct, even with the seasonings.

The ingredients for MOMS CHILLI are:

2 lg cans tomato juice
1 can kidney beans drained
1 can black beans, drained and pureed
ground beef, cooked and drained (use as much or little as you like)
salt to taste
onion powder
chilli powder


Here is how you make MOMS CHILLI:

~Cook hamburger and drained off grease~While meat is cooking , in large pot, add tomato juice and seasonings (you may need to adjust the amount you use and check it at the end of cooking)~Drain kidney beans and add to pot~drain and puree black beans and add to pot.~Add meat and cook on med low for about 45 min to and hour or put in crock pot all day.This makes about 10-12 servings.Is wonderful with tortilla chips, a dollop of sour cream and some cheddar cheese sprinkled on top.
