Here is how you make Greek Fasolatha:

Makes 7x 2 cup portions.Place lima beans in very large pot and cover with ample water (easily 4 inches above beans). Bring to boil and slow boil for about an hour or more until almost cooked. Drain water and add fresh water. Add onion, carrots, potatoes, oil and bring to boil again, slow boil until potatoes cooked. Add paste, stir well. In small bowl put flour and add vinegar to make a paste. Add about 1- 2 cups liquid from soup to the vinegar mix.
