1 package Smoked Turkey Sausage (cut into bite sized pieces)
2 cups frozen brocolli
2 1/2 cups of brown rice or 2 boxes of your favorite boxed rice..i like brocolli and cheddar too!
1 medium onion-coursely chopped
1 clove of garlic coursely chopped
1 Tsp olive oil or vegetable oil


How Do I Make Quick Rice and Sausage?

Here is how you make Quick Rice and Sausage:

*Begin cooking rice before you start anything as it will take the longest to cook, depending on the type of rice you would like to use!!!*1. Slice sausage links length wise (cut open) and cook on a grill (foreman) or in a large skilled until brown and crisped to your liking. set aside, and cut into 1/4 or 1 inch bite sized cubes.2. Place cubes into a small bowl and set aside. In a small pan, sautee onions and garlic until carmelized and add to sausages3. Place 2 cups of frozen brocolli into microwave safe bowl and add two tsp of water. Cook 7-8 minutes or until brocolli is tender. Drain excess water.4. Once rice has fully cooked, add broccoli, sausage, onions and garlic in large casserole dish. Season to your liking, and Warm in oven if neccesary. That's it!
