The ingredients for Khorak-Turkey are:

1 package Ground Turkey (not fat free)
1 Cup diced white Onion
1/2 cup Golden Raisins
1 tsp. Salt (more or less to taste)
1 tsp freshly cracked black Pepper (more or less to taste)
2 tbs Olive Oil (more or less depending on how moist you want the dish)


How Do I Make Khorak-Turkey?

Here is how you make Khorak-Turkey:

Place a large skillet over high heat. Add oilve oil, turkey, salt, and papper to the pan. Stirring with a spatual to break up the turkey, cook until turkey is thouroughly browned. Add the onion and continue cooking until onion is slightly carmelized. Add the raisins and cook for a few minutes more. When this dish is done the turkey should be almost crunchy and well carmelized. If the dish appears too dry, try adding a tiny bit more olive oil or add a few tablespoons of water at the end. This makes about 6 servings and is great with lavash (flatbread) or pita and plain yogurt (I recommend cheese style yogurt but any plain yogurt will do).
