1 8 oz Can Sliced Mushrooms, Retain Liquid
1 Can 99% Fat Free Beef Broth
1 Ts Dried Minced Onion
Black Pepper to Taste
Water
20 oz 90/10 Ground Turkey
1 TB Olive Oil
2 Small Carrots, Chopped
2 Small Celery Stalks, Chopped
1 Large Onion, Chopped
2 Ts Garlic Powder
2 Ts Dried Red Pepper Flakes
2 Ts Worcestershire Sauce
1 Ts Cayenne or Red Pepper
1 Can Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added



How Do I Make Turkey and Rice Mix-up?

Here is how you make Turkey and Rice Mix-up:

1) In pot with tight fitting lid, place uncooked rice. Drain mushroom juice into measuring cup. Pour beef broth into cup with juice. Add water until measures 2 1/2 cups. Add liquid mixture, mushrooms, dried onion and pepper to rice. Cook according to package directions, usually 40 to 50 minutes.2) Meanwhile, brown ground turkey until done. Remove from pan. Add olive oil to hot pan. Stir in carrots, celery and onion. Cook until almost done. Add ground turkey, garlic powder, pepper flakes, worcestershire, cayenne and tomatoes with juice. Stir in 1/4 cup water. Cook together on low until vegetables are done and flavors are blended.3) Serve turkey mixture over mushroom rice.
