In a meduim saucepan cook sausage, onions, garlic, bell pepper in a few tsps olive oil until they are soft. Add the rice, salsa, water, and broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. When water has half evaporated add onions, garlic, bell pepper, jalepenom ceyanne, chilli powder, thyme, and cumin. Simmer until the rice is tender, time varies depending on the rice, 20-30 min.
