Boil and stir 1 minute.Slow Cooker Directions: Decrease water to 1/4 cup. Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat setting 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours or until apples are tender; stir.Zap it! To microwave, decrease the water to 1/4 cup, and put all the ingredients in 2-quart microwavable casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on High for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring and breaking up apples every 3 minutes, until apples are tender.
