Bake in 400* oven for 45-60 min. Remove from oven, take out of foil, cut in half, let cool until you can handle them without burning your hands. Then scoop out the insides of the potatoes into a serving dish. Then add the Ranch dip (I use this dip because it has FAR fewer calories than Ranch dressing, which is what we used to use), cheese, and bacon bits. You can salt and pepper to taste. I wait and let individuals do this, as I'm trying to cut back on salt. Serves 6 (Unless you have an 11 year old boy who devours as much as possible!!)
