Here is how you make Irish Brown Bread:

Pre-heat oven at 375` CMix white, whole wheat flour, baking soda and salt well in a large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk one cup at a time using a fork. Once all the buttermilk has been added you can use your hands to form a large round disk about 2 inches thick. Place in a 11x13 deep well floured pan. Cut a cross in the bread about 1/4 inch deep using a sharp knife. Put it is the pre-heated oven and turn it after 25 minutes.
