1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup panko bread crumbs
4 teaspoons of Old Bay

1 egg
1/2 cup milk


How Do I Make Crab Bites?

Here is how you make Crab Bites:

Break apart or cut the imitation crab into bite size pieces. Mix flour and 1 tsp. of old bay in one bowl, egg and milk beaten in a second bowl, and in a third bowl mix panko bread crumbs and the last three teaspoons of old bay. Roll the crab meat in the flour first (one to three pieces at a time), dip into the milk/egg mix, then cover with the panko mix. Get oil to a frying point that is gentle with olive oil using your medium - medium high temperature. Pan fry the bite size pieces on one side for about 1-2 minutes then turn and get the other side golden brown as well.
