*1/3 cup of Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Choc Chips
* 1/3 cup brown sugar
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1 tsp kosher salt
* 1.25 cups 2% milk
* 1 egg
* 1 tsp vanilla

Here is how you make Kath's Oatmeal Snack Bars:

Preheat oven to 350.I did a rough chop of the chocolate chips to make them spread out more through the mixture.Mix all dry ingredients together in one bowl. Mix all wet ingredients together in another bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and blend.Spray a 9x9 pan and pour mixture in. Bake for 40 minutes. Cut into 9 squares. These will not be crunchy - they will be chewy like a thick muffin. Wrap individually in plastic wrap and put in a freezer bag. When you want one just take it out and let it thaw or microwave it for a warm treat!*Kath's original recipe did not use brown sugar or chocolate chips and she also used skim milk.
