Here is how you make Captain's Stew:

Saute onion & meat in Dutch oven. Cook until meat is done. Add soups & juice, & bring to boil. Add frozen vegetables & bay leaf. Simmer until vegetables are heated through. This stew is best when simmered for several hours, or may be transferred to a crockpot on low setting, if desired.
