Here is how you make Pasta e Ceci:

Cook pasta until slightly less done than al dente. In large sauce pan, cook garlic in olive oil. Once cooked, add canned crushed tomato, beans w/ liquid and seasonings to taste. Bring to a simmer and add pasta. Continue to simmer until pasta cooked to al dente. Immediately prior to serving, add parmesan cheese and stir to combine.
